Intellectual DevelopmentKnowing young children learn best through play, we provide hands-on experiences for children to learn about God’s world. Their development of listening, thinking and speaking skills is fostered through informal and planned learning experiences. Our curriculum provides a wide variety of multi-sensory, hands-on experiences to help children stretch their imaginations and develop problem-solving skills. Holidays, seasons, colors, shapes, letters and numbers are explored through interactive experiences. Short group activities, including daily circle times, provide additional opportunities for children to develop listening and speaking skills and expand their vocabulary. Quality children’s literature is shared as well as finger plays, music and conversation. Actual
community helpers visit our school and selected field trips are
a part of our curriculum.
