Special Features
Each child’s day at His Kids Christian Preschool is filled with a variety of learning experiences. Learning areas we use include:
Discovery Room
This room is set up with various centers where children may choose activities of interest during their free play. New activities and learning games are introduced and completed with guidance from the teacher or aide. Each child also participates in a teacher-planned art or cooking experience while in this room.
Our centers provide varying materials and experiences for exploring holidays, seasons, colors, shapes, letters and numbers as introduced by the teacher. They include:

Circle and Adventure Rooms
These classroom areas provide space for circle time, dramatic play and a language activities. The rooms contain quality children’s books, puppets, a flannel board, and learning games the children may use.
Our adventure room is a center for dramatic “let’s pretend” play. There the children find settings and props they can use to experiment with new and familiar roles, recreate experiences and practice skills related to daily life.
Play settings change on a monthly basis and have included a construction site, fire station, grocery store, stable in Bethlehem, medical center, post office, airport, garden center, farm, safari, rainforest and ocean.
Snack Room
Each class includes a snack time or lunch held in our snack room. The children prepare some of our snacks during cooking experiences. Parents are asked to provide other nutritious snacks on a rotating basis. We are happy to celebrate birthdays with special snacks provided by parents.
Active Play Areas
Classes have access to both an enclosed outdoor playground and an indoor fellowship hall for active play and creative movement.
His Kids Worship
A very special part of our program is His Kids Worship led by Pastor Stuart Luce, Bobbie Hoffman, Director of Discipling and Gary Schaeffer, Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministry. Two times each month the children meet with one of these leaders for songs, prayer and a children’s message about God’s love for us. Our goal is to partner with parents to introduce children to Jesus and help lay a solid foundation for the Christian faith.
